ABSTRACT
There are a number of companies which have demonstrated extraordinary success in the business domain, but perhaps the most iconic example in recent memory is Google. Even in the current economic environment, Google continues to generate a profit while simultaneously shaping present technology with its innovation. Recent events also offer equally rich, detailed instances of failure. There are cases like Kodak, the company responsible for the birth of snapshot photography, which failed to adapt to the market’s new taste for digital photography, despite being responsible for its original development, and ended up filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
