ABSTRACT
Distribution is the vital link between production and consumption. It is a set of machine functions and techniques by which a given item of production is managed from the time it leaves the site of production until it reaches the hands of the consumer. Ideally, its attentions should be allowed to center almost exclusively upon the mechanics of transporting goods and providing for their intermediate storage.
