Forms of Response and Time-Lag

In depicting the process by which these identity, technological and behavioural relations cause the economy to move through time we shall adopt the convention, which we adopted throughout The Growing Economy, of splitting time up into small discrete units which we call days. We then consider the change in the state of the economy between one day and the next.
