ABSTRACT

If there is one area of learning technologies where quality research is needed, it is within the field of mobile learning. Although mobile learning, as we know it today, is quite new and changing rapidly, we all must rise to the occasion and deliver data that fuel the areas of design, research, evaluation, and integration. To this end, Chapters 12 to 20 move us steps closer to understanding a host of issues related to mobile learning ranging from how to teach within an iPad-centered classroom to how to evaluate apps for classroom integration. Chapters 12 to 14 focus on app evaluation while Chapters 15 to 17 look at the challenges of integrating apps into the classroom. Finally, Chapters 18 to 20 look at content-specific app integration.
