ABSTRACT
Sterilization, as we have seen, should be confined to rigidly selected categories of individuals and to cases where the objections to parenthood are of a permanent character. There will always remain the mass problems of those who, though not generally unfit for parenthood, should have either fewer children or have them at better spaced intervals, and in their interest the twin problems of birth control and abortion will have to be solved by the legislator.
