ABSTRACT

Since 2011 TI Bosnia and Herzegovina has been working with six public universities in the country to develop integrity plans for those institutions. Integrity plans are strategy documents that analyse existing anticorruption mechanisms in universities and outline activities to strengthen universities' capacity to prevent corruption. Their goal is to institute transparency and accountability mechanisms that prevent corruption in the areas of examinations (including admission exams), human resources, procurement and financial procedures. Integrity plans should also lay the groundwork to protect individuals who report corruption in their universities.

Bosnia and Herzegovina 64% of people see the education system as corrupt or highly corrupt.
