For dates or not, movie theaters still do attract teens and young adults in larger numbers than any other age group. But theatergoing is by no means limited to teens and young adults. Check out the Saturday and Sunday afternoon theater hordes around malls, and you’ll see a lot of children and their parents. Married adults with older kids attend movie theaters fairly often, and senior citizens frequent early evening shows.
