ABSTRACT
It is easy and deceptive to assume that great teachers are essentially human repositories of knowledge - that subject knowledge is all that counts. In reality, I suspect we have all been taught by really clever teachers who turn out to be rubbish at teaching. Knowledge isn’t enough.
