ABSTRACT
As explained in the Introduction, one cannot speak of a particular monetary or fiscal policy in Iraq. This chapter, therefore, will deal with financial policy in general, rather than a specifically fiscal or monetary policy, and all matters relating to finance (such as budgets, taxation, banking, money supply, etc.) will be discussed without trying to categorize them according to fiscal or monetary policy.
