ABSTRACT

There is, however, some other useful advice throughout the book and, assuming you have time, then it is a good idea to read it. The section ‘What kind of student are you?’ (p. 10) provides the key to success or failure in Media Studies exams. It is all about your own independence and confidence in making critical judgements and applying these to media products. If you can get your head around this idea and have the confidence to apply it, you are likely to improve your potential grade quite significantly.
