When committing with open flanks only repair troops, evacuation troops and ambulances advance in the deployment sector behind the fighting troops. The rest of the first echelon supply services are drawn forward into a sector in the flanks where they may be secured by infantry. 345. The assembly area for damaged tanks and vehicles of the brigade (regiment) and the brigade (regiment) medical aid station are set up in range of the first echelon supply services. 346. The combat security of the supply services is reinforced. The repair and towing troops must be protected on the battlefield.
