ABSTRACT
The existing literature on security intelligence matters in the UK is both less extensive than in North America and, qualitatively, has contributed less to the development of a systematic body of knowledge. No attempt is made to discuss all the published work on the domestic security intelligence agencies in the UK. The objective is to provide an overview of the main contributions to what we know in order to establish a context for our analysis.
