ABSTRACT
If digital technology has slowly gained a foothold in the area of film production, it has now completely conquered film distribution. On 17 January 2014 Paramount announced it would stop releasing film prints altogether, with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues being its last wide release on 35mm prints.
