ABSTRACT

In the treatment of personality disorders, the psychiatrist utilizes various facilities or therapeutic aids. Even when he sees the patient daily, there are still many hours of the patient's day to be accounted for; hence an effort is made to organize a routine which the patient can follow with interest and satisfaction. Needs are peculiar to the individual and to the stage of his illness and the routine may require frequent modification. The proper co-ordination of all therapeutic facilities and their integration with psychotherapeutic interviews will give the best results.
