Having consulted the contemporary written evidence at our disposal in the previous chapter, we will now turn our attention to the oral testimony. The following chapter will further consider the motivational and ideological dimension of local 'joiners' by focusing in particular on the reasons why the following sample of Mosleyites aligned themselves with the BUF.
