ABSTRACT

This book was written on the assumption that there will some-day be clinical psychologists routinely working in general hospitals to aid in the understanding of the personality problems of all patients, and that there will be, in most communities, clinical psychologists in private practice whose services will be available for collaborative effort with medical practitioners. It was written on the assumption that there will be an increasing realization amongst all professional groups of the need to make available the important insights gained from their respective disciplines in concise and understandable terms.
