ABSTRACT

A huge amount of work can go into planning major change. In fact, in some cases it’s better to think of a major change as a number of projects rather than one. Whatever the size of the project, there are always certain processes that you will need to go through, such as:

■ collecting information; ■ establishing the aims and objectives; ■ establishing the timescale and necessary resources (including budget and

staff ); ■ assessing the feasibility of the project; ■ identifying the necessary activities and planning the order in which they are

to be done, and by whom.
