ABSTRACT

Rewards for top executives are a significant element in human resource strategies. Indeed, top teams themselves are key stakeholders in both the business strategy and in the reward strategy that underlies their own compensation. For this reason, the integration of human resource strategies into business strategies and the significance of top pay strategies in the organizational context are relevant to our study. In this chapter we will look at the implications of different models of human resource strategy for rewards at the top, and for the management of senior talent.
