An integral approach to experiential learning: A foundation for event management and personal development

To be successful as an event manager, one must have an in-depth understanding

of the various areas outlined in this text. Understanding and obtaining knowl-

edge in these areas, however, is only the beginning of your development as an

event manager. Your capacity to advance your knowledge as an event manager

will be enhanced by taking an Integral approach to the experience of managing a

“ real world ” event.
