ABSTRACT

SUMMARY. A Prosperity Game was designed and conducted to pro vide an experiential learning alternative to traditional lecture-based course material in a first-year MBA class. The students played US and Japanese business, government, and other roles, and experienced ethi cal, political, social, financial, and competitiveness issues in the con text of a global marketplace. Student journals provided an indication of the success of the method through comments that described the depth of experiential learning in a simulation environment.
