ABSTRACT
Each chapter so far has yielded useful insights about how to design in ways which are positive from our place-identity perspective. Since we are designers as well as authors, we have naturally found ourselves drawing inspiration for our own design work from each of these case studies: indeed, that is why we carried them out. In this final chapter we shall explore how, with other colleagues, we have drawn together these various insights in the development of the Responsive Environments design approach with which we are both associated.
