ABSTRACT
Motors may be divided into two distinct kinds: those using direct current and those using alternating current. Each of these categories is further divided into different types.
The effect of the force on a conductor in a magnetic field may be used to cause the rotation of a motor armature. Fig. 8.1 illustrates a simple single-loop motor.
