ABSTRACT
The Domain Name System (DNS) is the industry-standard technology used to locate e-business systems over the Internet or within corporate Intranets. DNS employs specialist servers to translate human-readable requests for e-business resources into computer-readable IP address for routing to their destination by the network layer. Correct implementation of the DNS system is therefore required to successfully deploy and utilize all e-business systems.
