ABSTRACT
Each cell can hold text or a number or a formula. A formula is a special way to tell Excel to perform a calculation using information present in other cells. Formulae can use not only the normal arithmetic operations like plus (), minus (), multiply (*) and divide (/ ) but also the built-in functions to find square roots, average, sine of an angle etc.
