ABSTRACT

What if Andre Agassi, Lance Armstrong, Randy Johnson, Marion Jones, Brian Urlacher, Michael Vick, and Serena Williams stepped outside of their sports, for which they are already known as world-class athletes, and displayed their talents in boxing, baseball, hockey, volleyball, gymnastics, and bowling? Nike's six-week spring 2004 ad campaign featured the famous sports figures, translating their talents to other sports, in realistic vignettes for the “What If?” television spots created by Wieden & Kennedy.
