ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the Sustainable performance phase (Figure 22.1), the last phase of the BPM framework, which relates to the need to move from a project-based to a business-based BPM environment. While this is the last phase of the framework, it is the first phase of BPM as a business-as-usual activity. As Stephen Schwartz of IBM is purported to have said,
