ABSTRACT
On January, 7, 2004, USA Today(Bayles, 2004 , p. 1) quoted Bob Doyle, who had been with his partner Greg Parks for twenty-seven years and recently had a civil union in Vermont: “It solidified our relationship with ourselves, our peers and our families. . . . There is more acceptance because we are a legal entity.”
