ABSTRACT
A problem frequently encountered in quality control is the monitoring of work processes to make sure that results are within tolerance, and to detect when they are drifting out of tolerance.
Sampling is used, and the sample means are plotted on a control chart. The tolerance limits are drawn on the chart.
