ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the core concepts of organizational governance,
explores the unique features of how sport organizations are governed and
summarizes the key research findings on the governance of sport organiza-
tions. The chapter also provides a summary of principles for governance
within community, state, national and professional sport organizations.
