ABSTRACT

There are two basic types of organization structure, namely project-oriented management and functional management. Most organizations are variations on these two and hence of a hybrid nature, modifications being necessary to suit each environment. Organization structure is in most cases a restraint for which we have to programme. In a few cases minor organizational changes are possible to accommodate the introduction of a new programme technique. The ideal organizational structure readily available or flexible enough to take full and immediate advantage of the introduction of a new technique is rare indeed.
