ABSTRACT

The effective utilization of the talents of all employees is stated by most executives as the organization’s greatest asset, but these executives often do not know how to accomplish this with an increasing multicultural workforce. “In recent years, diversity management has been considered both an issue of employment relations and an issue for all sections of the organization, from financing and accounting to customer relations and from strategy to marketing.”2 To unleash the talent and potential of this changing workforce, the public and private sectors are assessing their organizational systems to capitalize on the prevailing benefits of a diverse workforce and clientele.
