ABSTRACT
This chapter has several objectives: first, to appreciate the challenges inherent in transitional experiences and relocations; second, to examine ways for fostering acculturation when abroad, especially through customized deployment systems that train expatriates in proper business etiquette and protocols for living and working appropriately in an alien environment.
