ABSTRACT

The textbook and accompanying media have been designed in such a way that most activities can be worked on outside the class because class time is quite limited compared to the time a learner has at his or her disposal. Class time should be reserved for activities for which a teacher is needed: asking and answering questions, conversation practice, and group work. In order to save class time, grammar explanations have been written mostly in English so students can read and understand them on their own outside of class.
