ABSTRACT

There are several obscurities here. One is: should rewards be equal for an equal amount of time? Should there be a difference in reward in respect of skill, or physical intensity, and if so, what difference? Certainly there seems no suggestion that it be related to the usefulness of what has been done. How does one in fact determine the quantity (let alone quality) of work done by one individual, when it is usually indissolubly linked with the labour of others?
