ABSTRACT
Word order is not unlike that found in English, except more flexible. Due to number, gender and case inflections we can work out which words belong together even if they are not adjacent. Word order often depends on the desired link with the previous sentence, the need for emphasis, or the requirements of rhythm in poetry or poetic prose.
