ABSTRACT

BECAUSE OF THEIR INTERDISCIPLINARY AIMS, THE Society for Textual Scholarship and the journal TEXT have always been formally or informally linked to organisations and publications in related fields.1 Several members of the STS board and/or Executive Committee have served as presidents of other organisations, and we have published articles in TEXT on the implications of the administrative procedures of other editorial groups (e.g., Jo Ann Boydston's account of the Dewey edition and its relations with the CSE and the CEAA2).
