ABSTRACT
As a journalist, you must find a way to take all the words you hear from people and read in documents and weave those words into a story structure. You must first make some decisions about the worth and usefulness of all those statements you have collected: Are those statements valid? Valuable at all? Absolutely necessary to include in your story? Or of limited value just for their information? Or just for their use of colorful or inflammatory language? Or for both?
