ABSTRACT
It is my hope that this book has provided you with a guide that will help make our campuses safer from the threat of targeted violence. By nature, a book on this kind of topic is a “snapshot” of a moment in time. Addressing violence prevention in higher education is not something that is ever fi nished. It defi es a fi nal summary, allowing an author to clap his hands together, fl ip them up and down casino dealer style and say, “Well, that’s it. I’m out.”
