ABSTRACT
If I’m running a BIT/TAT/RAT, I cannot do this effectively without the right tools. The mandated psychological assessment and threat assessment are the hammer and screwdriver of risk assessment. A team must have the ability to refer a student, as a condition of staying connected to the college or university, to one of these assessments to gather more information concerning the potential risk they may pose to themselves or the university community.
