ABSTRACT

The body of trust is used in traumatic bereavement when the griever’s ability to story the loss is disrupted with distressing ruminations that do not eventuate in adaptive narrative development and integration of grief. It is probably less appropriate in the context of support groups for more normative bereavement experiences.
