ABSTRACT

VI. Whereas the resolutions of men (who have shewed themselves conscionable in the course of their conversation & calling) are like to be contrarie, some admitting, some refusing the use of the Ceremonies, and so consequently holding or losing their Ministerie and Maintenance: Remember we St. Pauls rule of charitie, 14. Rom. 3. Let not him that eateth not, condemne him that eateth; nor he that eateth, condemne him that eateth not: so let not him that conformeth himself, judge him over scrupulous or singular, much lesse, willfull or dis obedient, who refuseth the conformity, nor him that conformeth not himself, condemne him as a temporizer, worldly, or a backslider, which yieldeth thereunto.
