ABSTRACT
Decision 391 of the Andean Pact (now called the Andean Community of Nations) on a Common Regime on Access to Genetic Resources was adopted, and entered into force, in July 1996. The Andean Community is an economic and social integration treaty formed by Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and was established in 1969.
