ABSTRACT
Researchers will frequently be affiliated with any one or more of a vast range of private and public institutions, including universities, research institutions and herbaria, government agencies, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and grass roots organizations (GROs), or private corporations. Moreover, there may exist complex institutional partnerships that may determine how the research is carried out or in what ways the results are utilized.
