ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a discussion of transboundary issues in strategic environmental assessment (SEA), drawing on presentations and discussions at the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) Conference on SEA held in September 2005 in Prague and on other reported activities. As a result, the examples cited pre-date that conference. More recent examples have been described in papers such as that by Brecht (2007).
