The first question I am often asked when I speak anywhere about renewable energy is about its cost. I welcome this question. Not only among renewable energy critics and sceptics, but also among its advocates, I find this to be one of the most misunderstood aspects of renewable energy. Actually, one of the crucial advantages of renewable energy lies with its cost.
