Events can play their part in resource conservation, reducing consumption, and product redesign, and I hope to inspire you to take these issues on board at your event. Using recyclable materials, re-use and closing the loop are all ways to reduce the environmental consequences of your purchasing. Choosing organic, buying fair trade, buying locally and using products with low carbon footprints are all steps along the sustainable procurement path.
