ABSTRACT
In the following pages we look at the creation of event waste and how to limit what’s thrown in a hole in the ground or goes up in smoke at the end of your show. No matter the event size, waste management strategies are similar. towards zero waste is the goal. Along with guiding principles, suggestions, tips and examples of successful operations, to put it all in context we’ll also look at developments in waste management technology and take a peek at the changing face of attitudes to re-use, recycling and waste reduction and how your event can help move this along.
