ABSTRACT

ONLY a few Fijians are full-time suppliers of local produce markets, shipping truck loads almost every day of the week, and aiming not only at the weekly open markets of the small towns, but at the store proprietors as well. But an increasing number concentrate upon the supply of the Saturday open markets of Lautoka, Nadi, Ba, and Sigatoka.
