ABSTRACT

GAP sales are down and executives are quitting, or moving on to ‘spend time with family’. Of course, there was no mention of our campaign (the protests, the letters, the teach-ins) to expose GAP Inc's sweatshop abuses and how we may have had something to do with GAP's losses. We should [nevertheless] see this as a victory and take credit for the disorientation that we have caused this company. 1
