ABSTRACT
The Plus Energy House of the Kroiss family in Austria is an ecological passive house. It is located in Thening, about 15 km west of Linz. It was constructed using prefabricated timber elements. The architect, Andreas Karlsreiter, was able to surpass the ambition of the Kroiss family to erect a netzero energy house: the house produces more primary energy than it consumes.
